It is in the western area of the Torres del Paine National Park next to Lake Grey, where the unexplored Southern Patagonian ice cap begins.
Located in a superb place, all the magnificence of Paine's Mountain Range main peaks can be seen from its windows; adding to this marvel the beautiful scenery of the glaciers slowly flowing from the Southern Ice Field, and the native forest that surround the Hoster.
As impressive as the landscape is the wildlife that developes in Lago Grey's neighbourhood, it includes species that are very difficult to observe in other places such as: Red Fox (Dusicyon Culpaeus) and Huemul (Hippocamelus bisulcus, a local deer which is one of the two Chilean heraldic animals.); these along with other mammals and a big number of bird species can be seen during the different hikes and tours led by our bilingual guides. Some of these species will even show outside your room's window!
A good number of tours and excursions got their starting point at the Hotel, outstanding among them is the visit to the base of Grey Glacier on board a safe and comfortable vessel with capacity for 50 passengers. The breathtaking and dramatic landscape turns this 3 hours excursion into a memorable trip. Don't miss it!
Bilingual guides will take you in long or short hikes, kayaking, rafting or floating through Pingo River, Serrano River, Grey Lake, and to every interesting place in National Park Torres del Paine, using our own transportation facilities.
